Inaugural Launch Scheduled for 2022

The ride of COVID19 has been wild one, not soon to be forgotten. In some manner each of us has been touched by the COVID19 pandemic. We have all been forced to learn how to live in an uncertain environment, experienced the loss a loved one, and the lengths to which friendship can be tested (and sometimes lost).

Our goal was to open the Nutcracker Hospital and Museum in the late fall of 2021. This goal was shattered by the reality of COVID19. Our cause has always been to bring love, light and happiness to all who visit. We were simply unable to achieve this goal in 2021 as the safety and well-being of those who visit is our utmost priority.

While no plans can be set in stone, our goal has not been broken, just delayed. As we near the end of this tumultuous 2021, we are busy making plans for the 2022 and beyond.

Please continue to check this page for updates regarding the inaugural launch of the Maskeraides ™  Nutcracker Hospital and Museum. We will keep you posted on our progress in opening the museum. We are working hard to bring this to the public in a COVID19 safe environment for all to enjoy in the 2022 year and the holiday season!

We wish peace, hope and prosperity for all in 2021.

Mission of the Hospital and Museum

The Nutcracker Hospital/Museum is one fund-raising arm for The Maskeraides ™ Foundation. We use monies received from nutcracker donations to supplement costs to provide masks for child oncology patients, provide masks to schools in lower income areas (K – 6), (and upon request) consideration is given for children with allergies and/or respiratory challenges as funds allow.

Any donated nutcracker will be displayed for all to enjoy. We have a contributor recognition area. This area recognizes you (or a name you provide) as a contributor to the museum. We want to acknowledge and thank those who help us fulfill our cause! The Nutcracker Hospital and Museum accepts all kinds of nutcrackers and smokers. We can provide a donation receipt 501(c)3 income tax charitable contribution for any smoker and/or nutcracker you wish to donate. When duplicates are received, we resell any duplicates and those funds go into the foundation. When we receive “gently used” or “heavily loved” nutcrackers, we work directly with the various factories in Germany, or other parts of the world, to refurbish these pieces of art and add to the collection. No donation is too small or too worn! That is where our “hospital” comes into play!

The Museums inaugural public launch is scheduled for 2022. We have ~+1500 nutcrackers and smokers of all shapes & sizes. We would love to provide a permanent home for your beloved pieces so future generations of children can enjoy! Please feel free to use the "Contact Us" section of the website for any questions you may have!
